Kathy Williams MBE, OLY, Director, RJC Dance has been honored as one of the '100 Black Women Who Have Made A Mark.' This prestigious recognition is part of an inspiring exhibition curated by Pawlet Brookes MBE, CEO & Artistic Director of Serendipity Institute.
The exhibition features powerful portraits of 100 Black women with connections to Britain and Ireland,, captured by five Black female artists. These women have made a lasting impact in their respective fields and the exhibit celebrates their tenacity, resilience and invaluable contributions to society.
Kathy’s dedication to dance and the arts for young people and communities, has paved the way for countless others and her inclusion in this exhibition is a testament to her unwavering commitment to elevating Black voices in the cultural sector.
The exhibition is open to the public at the Leicester Gallery, De Montfort University, and runs until January 4, 2025.
